The 23rd IEEE International Conference NEWCAS 2025 will take place at the Cordeliers Campus of the Sorbonne University, which is located at 15 rue de l’Ecole de Médecine in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.

The Cordeliers is a historic place in Paris dating back to the 13th century. It was first a convent, then in the 18th the famous «Club de Cordeliers» led by Danton and in the 19th the Faculty of Medicine of Paris University.
The Cordeliers campus offers three amphitheatres: Farabeuf Amphitheatre, Bilsky-Pasquier Amphitheatre and Gustave Roussy Amphitheatre, as well as the Cloister, which is an outdoor space composed of two galleries under arcades and a garden.
During the coffee breaks and lunches, you will be able to enjoy this historic space in the heart of Paris.
The social event will take place at the “La Mère Catherine” restaurant. It is situated in the heart of the village of Montmartre, at Place de Tertre, just several steps from the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre with nice views on Paris.
The restaurant was founded in 1793 by Catherine Lemoine in the former presbytery for the priest of the Church of Saint-Pierre de Montmartre.
It has its authentic decoration and its warm and historical setting. For example, the quotes from Danton, who was hosted at the restaurant during the Revolution, on the walls evoke the era of Revolutionary Paris.
During this social event, you will have an opportunity to taste the traditional French cuisine in this unique environment.
